Objectives




  1. Develop instructional strategies based on practical reading and writing techniques that have immediate application to learners' needs.


  2. Develop and implement instructional strategies, which allow the adult learner to progress developmentally in reading and writing skills.


  3. Develop reading attitudes and determine adult reading interests and needs.


  4. Provide opportunities for the adult to derive personal satisfaction from reading in order to become a lifelong reader and library-user.


  5. Establish a program allowing for more individualized instruction.
