Tutor Info.



Tutors are volunteers who work one-to-one or in small groups with adult students. Tutors are given a training (one day) session before beginning the semester and are given ongoing training as well. Tutors are expected to volunteer once a week for a 10-week period. Classes are held for 2.5 hours each week. Read to Learn offers 2 semesters a year, with an occasional summer session provided. Our classes are offered in several locations throughout the Northwest suburbs as listed below:
